Punyaloka

Terms of Service

Version 2026-09 · Last updated 24 September 2026 · Effective 24 September 2026

In short. Punyaloka computes Vedic birth charts and connects you with independent astrologers, healers and pandits. Readings are for reflection and guidance — they are not medical, psychological, legal or financial advice, and nothing is guaranteed. You must be 18 or older. Practitioners work for themselves, not for us. You can delete your account and everything in it from inside the app at any time.

This summary is not part of the agreement. The sections below are.

1. Who we are

Punyaloka is a mobile and web application operated by [Full registered company name] Private Limited, a company incorporated in India under the Companies Act, 2013, with CIN [CIN] and its registered office at [registered office address] ("Punyaloka", "we", "us", "our").

In these terms, "the app" means the Punyaloka application on iOS, Android and the web, and "the service" means the app together with everything we make available through it.

2. Accepting these terms

These terms are a binding agreement between you and Punyaloka. You accept them by creating an account, by signing in, or by using the service in any other way. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.

Two other documents form part of this agreement and you should read them as well:

If you are accepting these terms on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to bind it.

3. You must be 18

Punyaloka is for adults only. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use the service.

We set the minimum age at 18, rather than at 13, because the service carries one-to-one chat, voice and video with adults you have not met, because it asks for your date, time and place of birth, and because consultations are a paid professional service. The app is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.

If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 18, we will close it and delete the personal data associated with it. If you believe a child has created an account, tell us at spilltv11@gmail.com and we will act.

4. What Punyaloka provides

Depending on what we have released, the service may include:

We may add, change or withdraw any part of the service. Nothing in these terms obliges us to keep any particular feature available.

5. What a reading is, and is not

Punyaloka readings are traditional Vedic interpretation offered for reflection and guidance. They are not medical, psychological, legal or financial advice, and no outcome is predicted or guaranteed.

You accept that:

If you or someone else is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services. Punyaloka is not a crisis service and does not monitor sessions in real time.

6. AI-generated readings

Parts of the service generate text using artificial intelligence, including the Kundli chat and the AI astrologer personas. These surfaces are labelled as AI within the app, and are separate from the human practitioners.

This reading is generated by AI from your birth chart. It can be wrong or incomplete, and it is not medical, psychological, legal or financial advice.

AI output is produced automatically and is not reviewed by a person before you see it. It can be inaccurate, inconsistent with other parts of the app, or simply wrong. Treat it as a starting point for reflection, never as a fact or an instruction. You can report an AI reply from the app, and we act on those reports under the Community & Content Policy.

To generate these replies we send your question and the computed chart it relates to a third-party AI provider, as described in the Privacy Policy. Do not put information into an AI chat that you would not want processed in that way.

7. Independent practitioners

Practitioners on Punyaloka are independent and are not doctors. Nothing said in a session is medical advice — never stop or change medical treatment because of it. A practitioner will never ask you to pay outside Punyaloka.

Astrologers, healers and pandits on Punyaloka are independent practitioners. They are not our employees, agents or partners, and they do not speak for us. The consultation itself is a contract between you and the practitioner; our role is to operate the platform on which you find each other, communicate and pay.

We verify practitioners before they appear in the directory: they complete an application, submit identity and qualification documents, sit a written assessment, are interviewed, and serve a probation period. A practitioner appears in the directory only because a reviewer approved them. Verification is a check on identity and stated credentials — it is not a guarantee of the quality, accuracy or outcome of any consultation, and we do not endorse what any practitioner tells you.

Practitioners agree to a code of conduct that prohibits, among other things: fraudulent claims about qualifications, powers or results; harassment or abuse; fear-based manipulation to sell further consultations or remedies; guaranteeing financial, legal or immigration outcomes; diagnosing, treating or claiming to cure medical conditions; asking you to stop or delay prescribed medical treatment; blackmail, threats or coercion; misrepresenting experience or lineage; using your data outside the consultation; and taking payment outside Punyaloka.

If a practitioner does any of these things, report it in the app or write to spilltv11@gmail.com. A request to pay outside Punyaloka is fraud. Report it and do not pay.

8. Your account

You may create an account with an email address and password, with your mobile number and a one-time code, or with your Google account. You agree to give accurate information and to keep it up to date.

You are responsible for your account and for everything done through it. Keep your password and your one-time codes to yourself — we will never ask you for them. Tell us immediately at spilltv11@gmail.com if you think someone else has access to your account.

One person, one account. Do not create an account for anyone else, do not share yours, and do not create a new account to get around a suspension.

9. How you must behave

The full rules are in the Community & Content Policy, and breaking them is a breach of these terms. In summary, you must not:

10. Your content and our licence

"Your content" means everything you put into the service: your birth details, the questions you ask, the messages you send, the reviews you write, the photographs and documents you upload, and anything else you submit.

Your content remains yours. You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, transmit and display it only so far as is necessary to operate the service for you — to compute your chart, to deliver your message to the person you sent it to, to show your review on a practitioner's profile, to generate an AI reply to your question, and to keep the service secure and lawful. The licence ends when the content is deleted, except where we must keep something for the reasons set out in the Privacy Policy.

We do not sell your content, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not use your private consultations to train AI models.

You confirm that you have the right to submit your content and that it does not break the law or anyone else's rights.

We may remove content that breaks these terms or the Community & Content Policy. When something is reported to us we take a copy of it so that a reviewer can act on the report even if the content is deleted in the meantime.

11. Payments, bookings and refunds

As at the date of this version, Punyaloka does not charge for anything and no payment is taken in the app. The terms in this section apply from the moment we begin charging, and we will tell you before that happens.

When paid features are live:

Refunds are made to the original payment method. We may withhold a refund where we reasonably believe a claim is fraudulent or abusive.

12. Punyaloka Bazaar

Where we sell physical products, the product page tells you what you are buying, what it costs and what delivery to expect. Photographs are illustrative and natural items such as gemstones, rudraksha and idols vary in appearance.

Products are sold for personal and devotional use. No product sold on Punyaloka is a medicine or a medical device, and none is sold as a treatment or a cure for any condition. Delivery estimates are estimates. Returns and replacements follow the policy shown at checkout and your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

13. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close your account, remove your content, or restrict what you can do, where we reasonably believe you have broken these terms or the Community & Content Policy, where it is necessary to protect another person, or where we are required to by law.

For anything other than a serious or unlawful breach, we will normally warn you first and tell you what is wrong. Where we act without warning — because someone is at risk, or because of fraud — we will tell you afterwards and explain why, unless the law prevents us.

If you think we got it wrong, write to spilltv11@gmail.com and a person will review the decision. You may also raise it with our Grievance Officer under section 21.

You may stop using the service at any time.

14. Deleting your account

You can delete your account and the personal data in it from inside the app, at Profile → Delete account. We confirm it is you first — with your password, an SMS code, or a fresh Google sign-in — and the deletion is then permanent and cannot be undone.

Deleting your account removes your profile, your birth details and saved charts, your bookings, your consultation messages, your reviews, your addresses and your order history. What we keep afterwards, and for how long, is set out in the Privacy Policy.

Deleting the app from your phone does not delete your account. Use the in-app deletion, or write to spilltv11@gmail.com and we will do it for you.

15. Our intellectual property

The app, its computation engine, its charts and iconography, its text, its design and the Punyaloka name and marks belong to us or to our licensors, and are protected by copyright, trade mark and other laws. These terms give you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app as it is intended to be used, and nothing more.

A Kundli report you generate is yours to keep, print and share for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not resell our reports or computations, or present them as your own product.

16. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the service available but we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. It depends on networks, devices and third parties we do not control. We may suspend it for maintenance, and we may change or discontinue features.

Voice and video consultations depend on your connection and on relay infrastructure operated by third parties. Call quality is not guaranteed.

The app can compute a chart on your device when our servers are unreachable. On-device computation may differ in detail from the server computation and is provided as a fallback.

17. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent the law allows, the service is provided "as is" and "as available", and we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that any reading, chart, report, horoscope, muhurta, matching score or AI reply is accurate, complete or fit for any purpose, or that acting on one will produce any result. We do not warrant the conduct, competence, honesty or qualifications of any practitioner, and we are not a party to your consultation.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

18. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive or exemplary loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, data, goodwill or opportunity, however caused.

We are not liable for any decision you take — about your health, your money, your legal position, your relationships, your travel or anything else — on the basis of a reading, a report, an AI reply or a consultation.

Our total liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to the service, in any twelve-month period, is limited to the greater of (a) the total amount you paid us in that period and (b) ₹[amount, e.g. 5,000].

19. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless against claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from your content, your use of the service in breach of these terms, or your breach of any law or of anyone else's rights.

20. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to the paragraph below, the courts at [city, e.g. Bengaluru], India have exclusive jurisdiction.

Before starting proceedings, please contact us at spilltv11@gmail.com so we can try to resolve the matter. Most complaints are settled this way.

If you are a consumer, nothing in this section takes away any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, including the right to approach a consumer forum where you live.

21. Grievance Officer

In accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, the Grievance Officer for Punyaloka is:

Name: [Grievance Officer name]
Designation: Grievance Officer
Email: spilltv11@gmail.com
Address: [registered office address]

We acknowledge a grievance within 24 hours and resolve it within 15 days of receipt. A complaint about non-consensual intimate imagery or impersonation is acted on within 24 hours.

22. App Store and Google Play

If you installed the app from the Apple App Store: this agreement is between you and Punyaloka only, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide support or maintenance for the app. If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation in respect of the app. Apple is not responsible for any claim relating to the app, including product liability, a failure to conform to a legal requirement, or a consumer protection or privacy claim, nor for any third-party claim that the app infringes intellectual property rights. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you. You confirm you are not located in a country subject to a US Government embargo or designated as terrorist-supporting, and are not on any US Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

If you installed the app from Google Play, your use is also subject to the Google Play Terms of Service. Google is not a party to this agreement and is not responsible for the app.

23. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version number and date at the top of this page always tell you which version is in force. Where a change materially affects your rights we will give you notice in the app or by email before it takes effect, and where the law requires it we will ask you to accept the new version. Continuing to use the service after a change takes effect means you accept it.

Previous versions are available on request from spilltv11@gmail.com.
